VERTEX worked on the civil and structural engineering of a new 6,500 s.f. building addition for the Health and Exercise Science building on the Colorado State University Campus in Fort Collins, Colorado. The work performed as part of this 0.84-acre site development included: the completion of site layout design and construction oversight management for the new building. Also included in the scope of work were the associated exterior site improvements and the addition of a new detention pond.
There were many unique design elements at the site including grading challenges, difficult infill conditions, and multiple utility conflicts and repairs.
