VERTEX is currently performing Owner’s Project Management Services for the construction of a new Indigo hotel overlooking the historic Trinity Church in Downtown Manhattan, New York. The project is a 30‐story, 85,000 SF, 180‐room hotel on an approximately 3,400 SF site. The project also includes the installation of infrastructure for an adjacent subway station. The project is substantially complete and has received TCO, and is open as of mid-December 2022. Work related to punchlist, final completion (FCO) and project closeout are underway.
VERTEX was responsible for the management and coordination of all aspects of the project, including oversight of the construction manager, design team, purchasing agents, FF&E vendors, expeditors, and city and state agencies. VERTEX’s tasks include review of contract documents, review and analysis of contractor bids, on‐site supervision, coordination to resolve issues, budget control/monitoring, change order review, review of contractor payment applications, and project document control.
