VERTEX has partnered with the University of Colorado Denver to promote graduate and doctoral degrees in order to enhance the professional development of our employees.
VERTEX is continuing to differentiate itself from other AEC companies by expanding VERTEX U, an internal professional development platform, through a partnership with the University of Colorado Denver (“CU”). VERTEX’s goal is to continue to promote a lifetime of learning philosophy for our employees and offer a learning program that integrates education with work experience. That said, VERTEX is working with CU to develop online master’s programs in construction, engineering, environmental, and business. In addition, VERTEX is working with CU to develop the first Master of Science degree in Forensic Engineering.
VERTEX will pilot this program with 12 employees. These candidates will enroll in CU’s online programs this coming spring semester. There will be an increase in participation thereafter. VERTEX’s Russell Fitzpatrick will be quarterbacking this program and will provide further details in the coming months. Martin Dunn, Dean and Professor, College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, University of Colorado Denver noted, “This innovative partnership with VERTEX reflects our strategic commitment to transform professional engineering education and firmly establish our position as an emerging leader. With VERTEX we will co-create and deliver competency-based, industry-responsive education that promotes a culture of lifelong learning and creates tomorrow’s technical leaders.”
