VERTEX performed two months of project oversight and asbestos air monitoring during asbestos abatement activities for a large aerospace defense company located in the Philadelphia area. The project was performed within a large industrial manufacturing building constructed prior to World War II. The building will be retro-fitted to facilitate the overhauling and updating of designated defense aircraft for the US and foreign governments.
