On behalf of a privately owned property manager, VERTEX implemented a hazardous materials identification program and created project specifications for the removal of asbestos-containing materials from an 8-story, 250 unit multi-family property in Rockville, MD. The project included abatement of hazardous materials in support of a facility-wide window replacement project. VERTEX, working with the Owner, provided successful solutions for the coordination, phasing, and remediation of hazardous materials within the occupied facility without displacing the residents. The project was completed on schedule with minimal impact on the senior residents living at the facility. Consulting services included contractor bidding and award services, as well as project administration and management, including project monitoring services, for compliance with local regulations during the 4-month asbestos abatement project. VERTEX billings exceeded $50,000 in support of the $200,000 remediation project.
