VERTEX is serving as the Owner’s Project Manager for the new Middleborough High School project. The new $103M Middleborough High School will embody an innovative, 21st-century learning experience. The building and campus, complete with an all-new, on-site athletic facility and football stadium, consisting of 165,000 SF with four wings – two 3-story academic wings, one wing will focus on humanities studies and the other wing will focus on STEAM programs; a Health and Fitness wing which will include a gymnasium, fitness, and weight rooms; and a fourth wing which will house Performing Arts and include an auditorium, black box theater, television production studio and band and choral programs. The Health and Fitness and Performing Arts wings will have separate entrances for the community and after school programming. All the wings will connect to a rotunda area which includes two drop-off points for security purposes.
