VERTEX was retained as the Standard of Care expert for the general contractor for the NASA Central Campus Phase 1 Replacement Headquarters Building at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The design-bid-build project involved the construction of a new seven-story office building which includes office space, conference rooms, break areas, and amenities on the first floor. Supported by a staff of multiple Professional Engineers and construction professionals, VERTEX’s designated experts performed an analysis of project performance and administration in accordance with standard industry practice, and evaluation of issues involving foundation construction, superstructure, building envelope, roofing, interior rough-in, interior finishes, MEP/FP systems, and punch list / closeout.
