Amanda Michel is an Industrial Hygienist with one year of experience in the environmental industry. She is a certified asbestos inspector, asbestos project manager, asbestos project designer, certified air sample analyst per the NIOSH-582 Method, and certified mold assessment consultant. Field experience and expertise include the oversight of asbestos abatement projects, collecting and analyzing air samples per the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), conducting inspections/surveys for the presence of asbestos containing materials (ACM), lead paint in residential buildings, construction oversight and vapor mitigation system (VMS) inspections, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. Additionally, she has completed her OSHA 10 – Construction Industry Outreach and Fall Protection Awareness trainings. She is a 2021 graduate from St. Vincent College with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.
