Senior Project Manager, Owner's Project Management
Chin has over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He is a registered Architect focusing his efforts on sustainable design for educational institutional facilities in New England. While at his previous firm, Chin was the Green Resources Manager and completed multiple large scale Ultra Low Energy buildings under strict budgetary constraints and completed some of the most innovative and energy-efficient school projects in the area. He has been actively involved in promoting sustainable, high-performing design standards including issues such as energy-efficient lighting, daylighting, and was part of the team that developed the ANSI 1260 Classroom Acoustical Standard.
As a seasoned project professional, Chin uses his skills to view the whole project and focus the team to keep to the plan, schedule, phasing, scope, and budget of the project. He is able to identify high-risk issues early and establish a plan to address and minimize risk for the project. Chin’s methodical approach and composed demeanor allow him to maintain a positive environment and a successful project outcome.
