Mark Morgan
Project Manager/Property Condition Assessor, Environmental
Mr. Morgan has more than 10 years of experience in Property Condition Assessments and due diligence, as well as Building Envelope and Construction Project Management expertise. During this time, he has been involved with more than 900 projects in 10 US States and Puerto Rico, which have included multi-family, commercial, institutional, industrial, and high-rise office property uses. Currently, Mr. Morgan serves as a Project Manager at VERTEX.
As a Project Manager at VERTEX, Mr. Morgan is responsible for specific job functions related to Property Condition Assessments (PCAs), Property Condition Screens (PCSs), and other due diligence projects. Responsibilities include performing field investigation activities, assessments of ADA compliance, professional and technical report composition and editing, municipality research, cost estimation, capital reserve planning, and data analysis. Mr. Morgan has worked on various types of project sites including residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial properties.
When performing a PCA, Mr. Morgan evaluates typical building systems such as exterior site improvements, building envelope, roofing systems, interior improvements, mechanical systems, plumbing systems, electrical and lighting systems, life safety systems, vertical transportation systems, and ADA compliance.
Prior to joining VERTEX, Mr. Morgan gained experience with PCA inspections at a previous national consulting firm and while operating his own regional consulting firm.
