Executive Vice President, Surety

As an Executive Vice President for VERTEX, Mr. Haagenson is responsible for national oversight of the surety claims consulting division. He is a licensed Architect in multiple jurisdictions, experienced in claims investigations, construction management, technical design document analysis, project management, architectural design, and general construction. He has consulted on complex projects of all scales, from small municipal projects up to $500 Million U.S. military construction projects, as well as multi-project portfolios of work, including projects across the United States, Central America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Western Pacific. He is a recognized expert in the surety claims industry and has provided expert testimony relating to contract administration and contractor standard of care.
