Ms. Spina has nine years of working experience in the environmental consulting industry. She has participated in multiple phases of site remediation including site investigation, remedial investigation, and remedial action. Her field work experience includes soil sampling, soil vapor sampling, indoor air sampling, groundwater sampling, drilling oversight, temporary and permanent well installation, bedrock drilling, air monitoring, tank removal, sub slab depressurization inspections, and construction oversight in New York and New Jersey. She also has experience preparing reports and other environmental regulatory documents including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, Remediation Action Reports, Health and Safety Plans, Remedial Investigation Reports, and Remedial Closure Reports.
As an Assistant Vice President at VERTEX, she has experience conducting claim investigations, pollution claims management, cause and origin inspections and investigations, and third party investigations. She has worked on pollution events involving both petroleum, mold losses, black water, and emergent contaminants.
