VERTEX evaluates safety issues on construction projects to determine the party or parties are most likely at fault and to determine whether or not the conduct of certain parties fell below the standard of care required by the applicable contract documents, applicable laws and regulations, and industry standards.

The regulations set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) provide detailed technical guidance about how to avoid hazards related to specific construction tasks. There are also standards promulgated by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) that dictate what must be done to ensure a safe work environment for employees who work on commercial construction sites. These and other standards are some of the main sources of construction site safety management.
